ISLAMABAD – Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was travelling to London for medical treatment, local media reported.
Nisar was referring to the politicians who were relating the prime minister’s visit with the Panama revelations. “Prime Minister Nawaz is in London for medical treatment,” he told reporters here at the Punjab House.

“As soon as the doctors will advise him (Nawaz) to return to Pakistan, he will be back. The issue of Panama leaks is related to PM Nawaz’s sons. Hasan and Hussain Nawaz will respond to the leaks,” he said.
The interior minister said that the government was ready to investigate the Panama Papers. “Team to investigate the papers will be formed through consensus.”
A massive leak of 11.5 million tax documents on April 3 exposed the secret offshore dealings of world leaders, including Nawaz Sharif and his children, and celebrities.
Last week, in a rare televised address to the nation, the prime minister had said a judicial commission headed by a former judge would investigate his family for any wrongdoing.
