LAHORE: The protest of young doctors in Lahore is continued on fourth consecutive day.
The employees of water board have also staged a protest demonstration on Mall road due to which disruption of traffic flow has created inconvenience for common citizens. On the other hands, the administration of Meo Hospital while taking action against protesters has terminated some 15 doctors and 30 nurses.
The protest has started after the termination of two doctors and one nurse and adopted the shape of protest and young doctors including with nurses sit at Club chowk. The government has launched an action instead of initiating dialogue with the protestors. Due to strike of young doctors, patients visiting the hospital have to face great problems and waited for the treatment of their loved one.
Not only patients, common citizen has also to face the great inconvenience due to this protest of young doctors. The traffic remained jam on important roads including Davis road, Canal road, Ghari Shaow and Mall road. After the dialogue with administration, the young doctors have expressed their willingness to perform their duty in emergency.
