MITHI – Two more children died of water borne diseases and food shortage in Civil Hospital Mithi on Monday which has mounted death toll to 162 as72 other patients are still getting treatment in various hospitals.
Dozens of children affected of the malnutrition related diseases have been shifted to Hyderabad in critical condition.
Innocent children of Tharparkar are paying the price of negligence of the concerned government authorities with their lives in the desert region of Sindh. Malnutrition, lack of healthcare facilities and scarcity of water are some factors pushing the children towards death.
