ATTOCK: A homeopathic doctor was shot dead in Dar-us-Salam Colony here on Saturday.
Hameed Ahmad was returning home from a worship place when he was shot dead near his home. He was hit by a single bullet in his head that caused his instant death. The assailants escaped from the scene after committing the crime, as no one was present in the surroundings.
Ahmad was a retired employee of the POF Sanjwal and he was running a homeopathy clinic after his retirement. Attock District Police Officer Zahid Nawaz Marwat, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Hafeez Aulakh and Station House Officer Malik Arshad reached the crime scene and collected information about the incident. Marwat told reporters that culprits would be arrested soon. He said that police had no clue about the motive for the murder until now.
